An appreciation ceremony honoring veterans and featuring the Troy University Color Guard Team is planned for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at Reid State Community College. All veterans, their families, and members of the community are invited to attend.

Nearly $1 million in grants has been awarded to support Reid State Technical College’s launch of a middle school summer camp and expansion of welding, commercial truck driving, and industrial robotics training for local communities.

Reid State Community College extended its service to the community and the college's faculty and staff with grand opening of the new Reid State Wellness Center. A grand opening and ribbon cutting for the center, located at 124 Edwina Ave. in Evergreen, took place Nov. 3.
