The Industrial Maintenance Technology Short Term Certificate provides individuals with the knowledge, technical skills, and values needed to obtain entry-level employment in the electrical, electronics, or computer fields. Over two semesters of full-time study (28 credit hours), you’ll be prepared for high-demand, high-wage jobs in the areas:
- Electronics Circuit Repair
- Industrial Electrical Wiring
- Industrial Motor Controls
- Hydraulics And Pneumatics
- Measurements
- Technical Drawing
Completers receive comprehensive general education and technical training in the core area of industrial maintenance. Snap-On Tools Certifications are available. Dual enrollment students are eligible for this program.

The Alabama median wage is $29.77/hour.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must complete the application procedures and be 16 years of age. Additionally, applicants must present official documentation of a high school diploma, in accordance with ACCS Board of Trustees Policy, or GED.
