What Will I Learn?
Child Development and Education prepares future teachers for success in the classroom including the skills and knowledge needed for rewarding careers working with young children and families. Program graduates will be competent in the areas of communications and mathematics qualified for stable positions including childcare directors and teachers, Head Start teachers, assistants, and teacher’s aide as well as jobs in child health, safety and nutrition.
