What Will I Learn?
Turn your interest in helping others into practical healthcare skills. Reid State’s Health Sciences program prepares you in basic nursing care, medication assistance, blood collection and specimen processing, infection control, CPR and first aid, and medical terminology. Classroom instruction, hands-on lab practice, and supervised clinical experience help you prepare for patient care roles.
Reid State’s Health Sciences Program prepares graduates to pursue nurse aide, medication assistant, and phlebotomy certifications. Each credential has its own eligibility and examination requirements.
What Can I Earn?

These statewide averages include workers with varying levels of experience. Earnings will vary based on role, experience, credentials, location, and employer.
