Students who believe they have met all qualifications for complete their degree or certificate must complete an application for graduation in their MyREID account. Completing the application for graduation does not mean that a student must participate in the commencement ceremony held in May. Participation in the May 2026 commencement can occur if the applicatIon for graduation is completed by March 20, 2026.

Students should meet with an academic advisor to ensure that all course requirements are complete, as students who did not meet the graduation requirements will be required to complete a new online graduation application. For additional questions about degree requirements, please review the RSCC Catalog or your DegreeWorks portal in your MyREID account.

Important Notes: 

• The Graduation Application must be filled out completely. If there are discrepancies with the information listed, please contact the Registrar's Office or your academic advisor for assistance.
• It is your responsibility to notify the Admissions Office if your local mailing address changes after you have submitted your application for degree.
• It is the prospective graduate's responsibility to ensure all financial obligations with Reid State Community College have been met. Students with financial holds will NOT receive their degree or certificate.
• Students who do not take, pass, or receive a grade in a course indicated on the Degree Plan, the degree or certificate will not be awarded. Please check with an academic advisor to discuss options.
